We’re heading to Melbourne on 20 May for Cards and Payments Australia 2015 and, with the region leading much of the world in payment innovation, it’s shaping up to be an exciting event. The Bell ID team will be at booth number 26, where we’ll be discussing HCE mobile payments, Apple Pay integration and tokenization and a range of other topics related to our mobile and card-based payments projects across the world.
HCE Mobile Payments in Australia
It’s a great time to come to the region. Consumers are enthusiastic early adopters of contactless technology, there are 12 million contactless cards already in circulation and mobile payments are going mainstream. We’re not talking about trials and pilots, either. Just across the Tasman Sea in New Zealand, Bell ID was recently chosen to enable the launch of ANZ New Zealand’s goMoney mobile app, which will allow 120,000 ANZ customers to make payments using their smartphones HCE technology. The Bell ID team is on hand to answer questions on this, and other, mobile cloud-based mobile payments projects around the world.
HCE Tokenization Demo
On the booth, our team will showcase Bell ID’s Token Service Provider: a platform to tokenize payment cards for applications like mobile payments or e-commerce. Additionally, visitors can see our mobile payments demonstration, using either HCE or a traditional Trusted Service Manager. This shows each stage of the transaction, from the initiation of the card request, through to the issuance of a card credential via the cloud or to the embedded secure element.
