Rambus at Transport Ticketing Global 2019 Bringing ‘Ticketing as a Service’ to public transport

It’s the world’s largest event dedicated to smart ticketing for transport and will take place on 29-30 January at the iconic Old Billingsgate Market in London. It brings together key stakeholders and influencers from across the intelligent ticketing, passenger information and smart cities industry to share ideas and learn about the latest developments in public transport ticketing. The event is now in its 11^thyear with 2019 is set to be the biggest and best yet.

Rambus are one of the key event sponsors and will be exhibiting on stand A32 where we will be demonstrating our award winning HCE based mobile ticketing solution. Speaking of awards, our mobile ticketing solution (which consists of our HCE Ticket Wallet service product and customer facing ticketing app) has been shortlisted for ‘Ticketing Technology of the Year’ at the Transport Ticketing Global Awards. The ceremony will take place on the evening of 29^thJanuary at Landing Forty Two, in the heart of the City of London.

Day two: Speaker presentation: The Future of Mobility12:20-12:40

This session will address the need for open standards and interoperability to enable cost effective card and mobile based ticketing deployments for the benefit of operators and their customers.

Philippe Martineau, Senior Director of eco-system Business development in the CTO office of Rambus and president of the OSPT Alliance will be explaining the benefits of the Cipurse open standard for global ticketing. Richard Moore, Product Manager within the Rambus Ticketing Group will discuss the benefits of ITSO based ticketing with focus on the latest developments in secure mobile ticketing for the UK market. This session will take place in the Smart Ticketing Hall (platform 1).
