Rambus is actively engaged with a number of organizations and consortiums that develop standards to drive adoption of memory, interface, and semiconductor security technology and solutions.
The CXL Consortium is an open industry standard group formed to develop technical specifications that facilitate breakthrough performance for emerging usage models while supporting an open ecosystem for data center accelerators and other high-speed enhancements.
As a Contributor member of the CXL Consortium, Rambus is developing chip and IP solutions to enable broad adoption of the CXL standard for next-generation data centers.
JEDEC is the global leader in developing open standards and publications for the microelectronics industry. JEDEC committees provide industry leadership in developing standards for a broad range of technologies.
Rambus will closely collaborate with the industry on the development of standards that impact the server market and the broader cloud computing industry.
PCI-SIG is the industry organization that is chartered with maintenance of the PCI bus specification. Formed in June 1992, PCI-SIG effectively places ownership and management of the PCI specifications in the hands of the developer community. PCI-SIG works to support new requirements to the specification while maintaining backward compatibility for all PCI revisions and addenda.
As a member of the PCI-SIG, Rambus works with the industry to advance the performance and security of the PCI Express® (PCIe®) standard. Rambus offers interface and security IP solutions enabling broad adoption of PCIe technology in the data center and across industries.
